I believe that computer games should be included in todays society, especially in a childs school life. With technology becoming more advanced children need to be given the opportunities to try it out.
I think that educational computer games could be used in all subjects and in most areas. After the lesson we had on thursday 17/02/2011 I realised just how important it is to allow children to play games. Not only does it make learning enjoyable, it is also imformative/useful and encourages children to keep fit.
My Plan: I would target an area that is a problem in todays society - Obesity. Games like wii fit, kinect encourage children to exercise in a fun way. The Wii Fit plus also gives a lesson on Nutrition, and i'd then arrange a lesson on nutrition, using games to help children learn, and also remember what they have learnt.
Tell me more Charlotte. What sort of a plan would you have to make computer games part of the education system?
